Robustness and functionality go hand in hand with this collection. The straight lines, basic and stylish, predominate in this commitment to versatile, lively and practical pieces, which blend perfectly into any space and imbue it with a young and urbane personality.
The avant-garde design and the technology blend together to create strong and high-quality elements. This design is a timeless, singular and unalterable style proposal with a refined finish and the originality of its contours fill every space with elegance, precision and distinction.
Minimalism enters the bathroom and the environment of well-being. Simple, balanced and clean lines equip the bathroom with versatility and sobriety in one single piece full of personality. The result is an extremely elegant and adaptable proposal.
The interior design was realized in cooperation with the Tremend studio. The hotel's interior design includes such designer gems as the Vis-a-vis sofas by Moroso, designed by Patricia Urquiola. In addition to 300 rooms, guests can enjoy a one-storey glazed restaurant with a large summer garden and a spa area. The hotel also offers seven conference rooms with natural light and a total area of more than 660 square meters. The idea behind the project was to create cosy, uncluttered interiors combining homely atmosphere and hotel luxury. The interiors have been given a distinctly classic American style. The architects opted for natural earth colours - browns and beiges, interspersed with delicate golden accents, in combination with noble greys and wood. All rooms have private spacious bathrooms, where timeless combination of stone in the shade of golden sand, wood and white makes the environment extremely sublime, luxurious, yet perfectly minimalistic. Each bathroom is equipped with a walk-in cabin to keep the space visually open and integrated. Bathrooms and public toilets have been kept in bright colours. Very comfortable and spacious, designed with touch-free solutions ensure maximum comfort and hygienic safety. Corresponding with the design and character of the room, bathrooms are their natural extension and complement. In this way, a common space was created - coherent and stylistically uniform. Lack of disharmony allows to feel exceptionally comfortable there. Roca products perfectly fit into the assumptions of noble minimalism, and at the same time are an affordable option. They allow to achieve the effect of a coherent space, whose elements perfectly harmonize with each other.
Built on the Tai Lake, its extraordinary structure is described as a bright moon, inspired by traditional Chinese bridges. In the evening, its laser light show presents a stunning visual performance with different colors and shapes. The guestrooms are fitted with cutting-edge technology, including, an iPad touch screen control panel for lights and curtains. The bathroom space in the suites are equally well-equipped, with Khroma models from Roca. The inspiring, personalised colours of the soft seat back leave a gentle touch and, instead of being a monotonous place, the bathroom is somewhere you can experience a wonderful journey made possible by technology.
Working closely alongside YOTEL at the design stage of the project, Roca created a bathroom solution that closely aligned with the brand standards. This included the Gap wall‐hung WC and a bespoke vanity unit, in addition to bespoke washroom countertops for the public areas of the hotel. The bespoke units were made using Surfex®, a malleable solid surface material formulated from a combination of minerals and resins. The unique properties of Surfex allow it to be poured into a production mould, enabling complex designs with no joints or seams. The materials properties also permit ‘on-‐site’ changes to the finished product, catering to different guestroom sizes and configurations. At YOTEL Edinburgh the advantages of Surfex were harnessed to create a wash basin bowl with an integrated unit that maximises countertop space, providing ample storage space for toiletries and grooming products.
Between trendiness and tradition, Casa Cacao is a gastronomic tribute to chocolate and also a pleasure for the senses. Above the chocolate shop with the same name, the hotel offers some of the best views of the city in spacious suites that conceive the bathroom as a space for wellbeing. The modernity of Loft faucets or Superinox accessories is combined with solutions for comfort such as the freestanding Virginia bath or the Rainsense and Raindream shower-heads. The combination of all these elements results in welcoming rooms designed to get away.
The rooms are distinguished by modern design, panoramic windows and wallpaper with the theme of the map of the immediate area. After a day of attractions, guests can relax in modern bathrooms with Roca products. For the most demanding guests, selected apartments have a bathtub, which, combined with panoramic glass, allows for a relaxing bath with a view of the setting sun.
Aimed at providing a modern and practical home for the long-term and medium-term stays of young European executives, the project commits to contemporary design without giving up practicality. Avant-garde and exclusive, these suites with a multifunctional design received the 2019 KAISSA Award presented by the Association of Real Estate Agents of Saint Petersburg and the Leningrad region and are proof of the modern urban architecture that is transforming the main Russian capitals. Conceived as a key element of this functional and exclusive haven, the bathrooms of the YE'S Marata suites combine design and ergonomics right in the heart of the city. The made-to-measure basins manufactured in Surfex® stand out above the grey veined marble. With a warm and silky surface, the outstanding plasticity of this material allows the integration of the countertop and the bowl in a piece with specifically rounded shapes. As a complement to the ensemble, the modern Victoria faucet, also with a slightly curved outline, adds the final touch to a modern and elegant bathroom with a timeless vocation.
The hotel offers 158 rooms, of which 29 rooms are 4 * standard, the city's largest conference center with a total area of 600 m2, with the possibility of dividing it into 6 smaller rooms. The bathrooms are full of Roca products.
The exquisite modernity of Mid Century inspiration fills the project of the architect Vito Vitorino with personality. In a perfect combination for the country house style, the Liceo Moka floor tiles bring the warm sophistication of wood to this space. In the bathrooms, the Rock Art penny tiles and the furniture and countertops manufactured with the large-format thinbig® Calacatta marble round out the charisma of an extremely elegant interior design. Roca’s wall and floor tiles allow for the excellence in design without leaving behind the latest performance of porcelain tiles. This results in floors inspired by nature and materials that cover basins in marble, with the great resistance and durability required by highly-transited spaces.
The charismatic Diverta basins are the perfect expression of Roca’s commitment to design and the best performance. Exclusive hotels need to rely on solutions with stylish design and maximum performance.
The astounding plasticity and customization capacity of Surfex® was the key to achieve the balance in a very sophisticated environment. The pleasant texture of the basins and the customization options with one or two sinks turned this solution by Roca into an element in perfect balance with the ensemble.
