The Cloudscape is an innovative space that redefines the role of modern libraries. Located in Haikou, China, it exemplifies how thoughtfully designed civic architecture can enrich everyday life, with Roca's products playing a crucial role in meeting the practical demands of a public space.
Designed by Ma Yansong's MAD Architects, The Cloudscape is a smooth, fair-faced concrete structure with portholes and wraparound windows resembling a marine creature or ancient cave. The collaboration between MAD Architects and Roca blends visionary design with innovative craftsmanship, ensuring functional and attractive service facilities. Half of the library's space is dedicated to public amenities, including selected Roca’s sleek Round basin from The Gap collection, touchless Loft faucets, and energy-efficient Euret urinals. These products complement the library's design and provide an eco-friendly, immersive experience for all visitors.
